          |  |  | Magda Bielesz - Universal Wish 
 First Wd8 Artist in Residence Magda Bielesz from Poland will be in 
            Walkersdorf during March and April 2006.
 In her project 'Universal Wish' she will talk with the local people 
            and try to find out what their dreams and wishes are. She will then 
            paint those dreams and wishes on canvas and other materials.

 On April 29, 30 and May 1st Wd8 will present itself for the first 
            time to the public. During three afternoons there will be coffee and 
            cake and presentations of the works of the Wd8 artists.
 
 From 1pm till 5pm, with works from Magda Bielesz (PL), Roberts Bolšings 
            (LV), Martina Schwab (A) and cym (NL), plus a continuation of the 
            project 'Mesto pod Zemljo' from Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts, 
            Ljubljana (SLO).

            - 11 May 2006 - 9pm 
 Presentation of the 2-dvd set 'Return to Topoló'.
 A 112 min collection of 1-minute-movies made by the many different 
            artists that visited Topoló during the last 10 years. This 
            dvd will be presented at the same time in different places all around

          |  |  | Michael Northam - Residential Composter 
 During a 5-days residency sound artist Michael Northam made recordings in and around the Wd8 building. He used the recordings to make small compositions for each room in the house, following a quickly drawn map of the Wd8 complex..
